Tooth Form:
Tooth “A”: A geometry is used for machining work, such as slotting or cutting stainless steel parts.
Tooth “AW”: This tooth type is almost same as tooth A, except for chamfering in turns. Nowadays, this type is hardly used; it is used for cutting thin walled pipes.
Tooth “B”: it is used for cutting very thin walled pipes and profiles and nonferrous metals.
Tooth “BW”: This type is almost same as B, except for chamfering in turns. The load is less than B, and it is suitable for cutting thick material. This type is applied to cut nonferrous pipe, profile and heavy metal solid bar. Usually, A or B is used in cutter, and BW or C is used in saw.
Tooth “C”: also known as form HZgoes by the name of high-low form. The difference of contiguous tooth is 0.15mm-0.3mm. It has good performance in cutting round solid bar, rectangular solid bar, heavy metal and thick pipe.
